Frank Sherman
Frank spent 30 years planning and building homes, offices, greenhouse complexes and manufacturing process systems. He has been involved in a number of start-up companies from conception through to successful day-to-day operations.
In 2008 he carried out extensive research in the Republic of Panama to determine the feasibility of setting up self storage facilities, business centers and value added services to support commercial, industrial and residential customer requirements.
In mid 2008, Frank and his investment partners purchased a historic building belonging to the Candanedo family for more than 90 years in the city of David, province of Chiriqui. They renovated it to create a business center with reception services, cafeteria, garden area and 11 offices available to rent.
In early 2009, he and the investment partners also purchased the national franchise rights to Pak Mail, a U.S based company with over 400 stores around the world. The first store opened in mid 2009 and will be expanding throughout the country.
Nikolai Candanedo-Sitton
Nikolai has operated as a licensed real estate broker with his own real estate trademark Prefer Panama (www.preferpanama.com), for 10 years. He has also been involved in a variety of entrepreneurial activities from start-up. Nikolai is well versed in all aspects of Panamanian legal, permitting and administrative aspects required for operations in the country.
Nikolai introduced Frank Sherman and his investment group to the concept of building a business center in David with prime quality offices, the first of its kind in Chiriqui. He, with architect Rodrigo Candanedo designed the remodelling of the building, and was responsible for the construction of all phases of the project.
Nikolai received extensive training at Pak Mail’s head office in Denver Colorado, and will assist in the expansion roll-out across the country.
